Hi guys! Felas…! What’s up?
I just back from Tokyo, it was a very short trip that lasted only for a week. During this trip I really used the time to explore a bit more about Tokyo prefecture.
I went to this place,Kawagoe, which is only about an hour from Shinjuku station. This place attracted me so much as I really like old building, old town, and history behind It. This place also remind me to Arashiyama not far from Kyoto. There are many traditional village where all the building have the same dark brown color which really fascinating. If you guys love photography , you should definitely explore this place.
From Tokyo, simply take the train from Shinjuku or Tokyo to Kawagoe station. Took me about 50 minutes to get there, from the station take a bit of walk, maybe around 10 to 15 minutes (depends on how fit or how hungry you are).
For kids, they may also enjoy walking around CANDY ALLEY, yup…. it is an alley where they sold all kind of sweets and candy…yey..
Unfortunately I didn’t have the photo of that alley though…too excited with the goodies.
There is also an interesting festival at Kawagoe, around beginning of Oct every year. Get more info about this festival and download the map of this area on http://www.koedo.or.jp/foreign/english/
